Injustice

What am i talking about?? heard of the fast food place called POPEYE'S ?? Well..i happen to be there to try the food..i would say not bad..i love the mash potatoes..YUMMS!!! We all know its Hari Raya festive season..so when its Buka Puasa time..everywhere will be pack..and i mean everywhere..so kiasu..some even "camp" at the tables one hour ahead..can you imagine???

Well i was dining with teddybear..and i notice this guy, a supervisor of POPEYE'S lurking around..checking the conditions..ordering staff to clean tables quickly when we have not finish eating..like there's no tomorrow.. How often do you see a supervisor so hardworking?? My guess is that..he might have been told to supervise when its "buka Puasa" time.. this is just my assumptions..

You see..its unfair treatment already..just because its their festive season..things operate much better..and when you're the very few chinese there..and occupying a table when you're almost done with food..YOu will be like the target from the "people"..some would stare at you..i know because i encountered a guy told something to his friend about the table we're sitting in..WHT! Have we got no rights to sit? to enjoy our food?? So much for malaysia is a united country..but there seems to be prejudice!

Well..somehow i dont understand..its been there all this while..why does only bumiputras get discounts and stuff when buying house or getting loan..WHY!!!!!! arent all race should be treated equally? Thank GOV.."YOU'VE DONE A BRILLIANT JOB!"

  1. Harsh...harsh indeed...

Have you seen other customers being treated the same way? Are they Chinese, Indians, or Malays? or are they Martians?

Firstly, you're being sensitive to other's perception. So what if they 'mengumpat' or say things...you don't even know what that is...unless they stand and shout out loud 'Go back to China', why get upset? Similarly, we do the same. I once said something about a couple who was obese sitting near the park, that doesn't mean I do them ill.

Secondly, we are MALAYSIANS. There's no point talking about race. Poverty hits the Malays more often and we know that. To impose a rule of 'equality' help won't change the statistics much.

Judge them not by the colour of their skin, but the character they impose. Thanks Mr M.L.King, for inspiration.

Please...we Chinese have our own faults, stereotypes and positions. Complete racial equality is hard, but possible. If you're so upset about it, why not form a small party of your own. Let me know when you do:)
